You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining our BigCommerce store to enhance user experience, streamline shopping processes, and ensure the seamless operation of our digital storefront.

Key Responsibilities
Platform Development and Customization:
Build, maintain, and optimize our BigCommerce site, ensuring peak performance and user experience.Tailor the platform to fit the brand with custom themes and plugins that enhance usability and aesthetics.
API Integration and Management:
Integrate and manage APIs to connect our BigCommerce store with third-party applications, facilitating seamless data synchronization and extended functionality.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing, design, and operations teams to translate business needs into technical solutions that drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
Performance Analysis:
Regularly analyze site performance, addressing any issues with site speed or functionality, and making data-driven decisions to enhance the user experience.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough testing and QA for all development tasks, ensuring high-quality deliverables and a reliable shopping platform for our customers.
Technical Support and Documentation:
Provide ongoing technical support and maintain clear documentation of the codebase and development processes.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
2. Proven experience as a BigCommerce developer with a strong portfolio of eCommerce projects.
3. Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and familiarity with Stencil CLI.
4. Experience with BigCommerce APIs, webhooks, and handling complex integrations.
5. Understanding of eCommerce payment gateways and security protocols.
6. Proficient in responsive and cross-browser web development.
7. Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Payment Guide
We pay well and it will be based on the skills and qualifications that you can bring to the team. Extra performance bonuses are given out based on if you can hit set KPI's.
